Gardaí are investigating the deaths of two young boys in Charleville in North Cork.
The bodies of the two boys, believed to be brothers, were discovered at a house at Deerpark in Charleville this evening.
It is believed there are signs that they may have died violently.
The area has been cordoned off and a technical examination is to be carried out by garda forensic experts.
Meanwhile, gardaí believe the discovery of a man’s body in Buttevant is connected to their deaths.
The man is believed to be in his early 20s.
The Charleville to Deerpark main road to Limerick is closed following the incident.
