Craig Gilroy scored the opening try of the game in last season’s Six Nations loss to Scotland

Craig Gilroy and Simon Zebo have missed out on places in Joe Schmidt’s 34-man Ireland squad to face Scotland and Wales in the RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Uncapped forwards Robin Copeland, Jordi Murphy and Martin Moore – who all featured for the Irish Wolfhounds against England Saxons on Sunday – are in the squad.

Ireland commence their Six Nations campaign with home fixtures against Scotland on Sunday and face Wales the following Saturday.
