We are seeing a few products aimed at this potential user case. We chose our words carefully because when we urged our various testers to try them out, there was a dialogue about just because you can have audio sunglasses, does that mean that you should. There was certainly a degree of hesitancy about the look and feel of them.

Personally we felt they were kinda funky in a sort of European chic sort of way. But equally, from our testers not all of them were convinced, and some felt that the tech needed to drive the music, while smaller than some previous iterations, was still perhaps slightly over prominent.

The charging box and case for the glasses was snug and worked well, once you worked out which way to put the glasses back into it. Overall there is a lot of sleekness and good design going on with these glasses, the sound is good too. It just seems like we are in the middle of a battle between wireless ear buds and other ways to listen to music. Personally we would prefer if it came from sunglasses, as these seem less likely  to fall off your face than ear buds might be to fall out of your ears. However it seems like the jury is still out on this one among our in house testers here at Irish Tech News.
