ESB Networks efforts to restore power to about 100 homes in the west of the country resumed this morning.
Up to 30,000 customers across the country were without electricity yesterday following high winds and sporadic lightning strikes.
Power has been restored to all areas of the country, with the exception of parts of Co Mayo.
Achill Island is the worst affected.
Meanwhile, around 75,000 homes in Britain remain without power this morning following severe weather conditions yesterday.
