Tánaiste Joan Burton and Taoiseach Enda Kenny held final talks last night
The Cabinet reshuffle is expected to be announced in the Dáil later today.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Tánaiste Joan Burton held final talks last night and a document on their priorities was agreed.
Before the talks, the Taoiseach said they would be focusing on preparing an economic statement.
Last night a spokesperson for the Chief Whip’s office said the motion to appoint the new Cabinet could be moved between 10.30am and 1pm.
The Taoiseach and Tánaiste will make statements in the Dáil chamber, to be followed by statements from the Opposition.
New members of the Cabinet and those moving to new departments will receive their seals of office from President Michael D Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin and the Cabinet will then hold its first meeting there.
Mr Kenny and Ms Burton are expected to hold a press conference later today.
